THE YEAR WINDS DOWN and WHAT A YEAR!

As 2010 comes to a close, we feel the need to extend heart felt wishes to those Americans who are really hurting.

WE KNOW TENT CITIES ARE UP ALL AROUND THE COUNTRY as homeowners loose their homes.

We personally know of people who are LIVING IN THEIR CARS around the local park. People who are taking the bus rather than owning a car - gas and all just too expensive.

We have parents with memories of the Great Depression...

AND THIS IS WHAT THEY TOLD US THEY EXPERIENCED AS CHILDREN:

They washed in a sink because they didn't have showers or tubs.

They had two dresses: one was washed and drying on a clothesline while they wore the other.

They wore shoes with holes and cardboard inserts and their toes got crippled.

They took any old job to earn a few bucks here and there - jobs no child should be doing.

They hung around parks, street corners, even amusement parks, without a dime to spend.

They had it harder than us for the most part and most of them survived with the ability to pinch a penny.

We encourage you to do your best in all things.

To remain honest, dependable, and loyal to those who are loyal to us.

Don't give up your courage or your character !

CHRISTMAS WITHOUT SANTA

Christmas has become the most materialistic time of the year in the United States of America.

Meanwhile this year more families who have lost homes and apartments - everything - are going to homeless shelters this winter.
Many families who still have are taking in relatives.
Though this blog is about PURCHASING PATRIOTICALLY, to preserve jobs in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, we feel that an old fashioned Christmas can be celebrated with home-made gifts - that the thought counts.
TO THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE FRIENDS and FAMILY who are hurting, may we suggest that you gift them with GROCERIES?
May we suggest that THIS IS THE TIME TO SIMPLY ASK BEFOREHAND what someone NEEDS?

PRODUCT REVIEW : CHOBANI GREEK YOGURT has TWICE AS MUCH PROTEIN

We just tried this CHOBANI Greek Yogurt in Blueberry Non-Fat Fruid in the bottom and we found it tasting wonderful and with some great advantages...

Calories 140, FIVE different live cultures, (Did you know there is a National Yogurt Association Criteria for Live and Active Culture yogurt?), and TWO TIMES the protein of other regular yogurts.

Cows's milk with no rBST. and they give 10% of their profits to charities world wide. Now we would like to encourage Chobani to FIRST GIVE TO U.S.A. charities, since we believe you take care of HOME first.

Grandma's present of a few dollars cash in a home-made card is extra special when it's folded into a heart and we bet your grandchild won't spend it as fast because it's too pretty to unfold. Money hearts may also make great presents for bridal shower gifts and other occassions...

PENNSYLVANIA DEERHUNTERS are DONATING VENISON TO FOOD BANKS

Link now to this Yahoo News article! 100,000 pounds of venison to be donated. I've eaten it only twice in my life. I know it has sustained human beings as food for centuries but for me it was a strange taste.

HELP US BUST LIEING ADVERTISERS

Please let us know if we post a "Made in America" product (because we believed their media advertising, their Internet Site, or their packaging) and it turns out that's a lie.

We are not making a profit on this blog, other than feeling that we may be helping you help the economy of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. We are aware that some companies have some products that are made here, and then many that are not and it's not always easy to tell, especially if they don't.

WE NEED YOUR HELP in keeping business honest so... Let us know if you find us in error!

Details please!
