THE YEAR WINDS DOWN and WHAT A YEAR!

As 2010 comes to a close, we feel the need to extend heart felt wishes to those Americans who are really hurting.

WE KNOW TENT CITIES ARE UP ALL AROUND THE COUNTRY as homeowners loose their homes.

We personally know of people who are LIVING IN THEIR CARS around the local park. People who are taking the bus rather than owning a car - gas and all just too expensive.

We have parents with memories of the Great Depression...

AND THIS IS WHAT THEY TOLD US THEY EXPERIENCED AS CHILDREN:

They washed in a sink because they didn't have showers or tubs.

They had two dresses: one was washed and drying on a clothesline while they wore the other.

They wore shoes with holes and cardboard inserts and their toes got crippled.

They took any old job to earn a few bucks here and there - jobs no child should be doing.

They hung around parks, street corners, even amusement parks, without a dime to spend.

They had it harder than us for the most part and most of them survived with the ability to pinch a penny.

We encourage you to do your best in all things.

To remain honest, dependable, and loyal to those who are loyal to us.

Don't give up your courage or your character !
