REMEMBER WHEN TRAVELERS CHECKS WERE so very popular for travel? But then a lot of fine hotels started refusing the checks and expected MASTER CARD OR VISA or another card, even in New York! We know! At a five star hotel in New York many years ago they expected us to go to the American Express office and cash them in!
I SAY THAT TRAVELERS CHECKS MAY BE THE ONLY WAY TO KEEP SOME MONEY ASIDE when BANKING RATES and CREDIT CARD RATES are ridiculous, or you can't afford to keep minimum balances!
