DON'T YOU WISH? Seems like we've encountered a lot of clerks who are jerks lately. Sadly, most of them seem to be youthful, first job out of high school or college, and deeply unhappy with their minimum wage or not much better job. We know what it is to work a cash register in a retail store, or waitress in a restaurant where the tabs aren't too high and neither are the tips.
But a job is a job, and when it's service it's service - until you can do better.
We're not saying to put up with a customer being ABUSIVE to you but most of the time the cranky ones are tired, hungry, been on their feet too long, or SIMPLY TIRED OF SPENDING THEIR MONEY WHERE THE SERVICE HAS GONE TO HELL!
Many of us cannot seem to locate an employee at all to help us find products and we ARE SAYING THANK YOU TO BUS DRIVERS AND CASHIERS who should be saying THANK YOU TO US!
