We thought this article was interesting. Michael M. Gunter proposes that spending your travel and vacation money outside the United States is good for the United States.

We have one thing to say : Travelers should remember HOW OTHER COUNTRIES TREAT AMERICANS WHO WANT TO STAY AND WORK... You can pretty much forget about taking jobs from their citizens. We should do the same when vacationers come here, love it, and want to stay in the United States and work. We should never support illegal immigration which means we should not hire illegal.

LOS ANGELES TO BOYCOTT ARIZONA OVER ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION INTOLERANCE

The recent news that Los Angeles is going to boycott Arizona because of Arizona's new zero tolerance for illegal immigration - and the question of it the basketball team, The Lakers, will follow and fail to play in Arizona, is all the buzz here.

Frankly we understand USING MONEY AS INFLUENCE. After all, we are suggesting that if you can't buy MADE IN THE USA OF AMERICAN PRODUCTS, maybe you don't need to buy anything at all!

WE CAN BLAME A COUPLE PRESIDENTS and OURSELVES, for allowing AMERICAN MANUFACTURING TO GO TO OTHER COUNTRIES - including to MEXICO. After all, we think, let CHINA, or MEXICO, where they are underpaid or the cost of living is less, or they are tolerant about child labor (and in some cases child sex slavery) to HAVE ALL THE AIR POLLUTION!

COME ON! We can send human beings into outer space and we can't find a way to deal with POLLUTION and manufacture HERE?

ARE WE HERE TO UNDERMINE THE CONFIDENCE OF VOTERS. ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IS AGAINST FEDERAL LAW. Now Arizona has decided to have their STATE LAW follow!

WE ARE NOT FOR A POLICE STATE. We are not for breaking the law in order to comply with a new one. So we are not for illegal search and seizure. But if someone is illegal, and they know it, then if they get pulled over for speeding in their car, public drunkenness, or abusing their family members, and the police do their job... well...they came here knowing the risk...

Here is our opinion at PATRIOTIC PURCHASE. EVEN WHEN A LAW IS PASSED BECAUSE A SLIM NUMBER OF VOTERS PREVAILED it is supposed to be enacted as law... until the next vote on the matter.

OTHERWISE WE PROVE THAT VOTING IS USELESS.

DURING ELECTIONS VOTER TURN OUT IS SO PATHETIC, it's amazing that people once fought to vote!

We believe a state may not vote for something that is against FEDERAL LAW, we may not turn over the CONSTITUTION.

DON'T HIRE ILLEGAL PERSONALLY

We know there are fines in place should an employer be caught having illegal immigrants working in their factory, yet we know that it still goes on especially in the American South West.

And we have heart so many of us can relate to and understand the desire to work hard in order to provide for our families. But we cannot have it both ways. We cannot support American jobs for Americans if we ourselves are so willing and able to support illegal immigration.

Yes, we are in a national economic crisis and one of the ways we brought it on ourselves is by making illegal immigration worth the risk for immigrants who come from other countries. Remember! There are still LEGAL IMMIGRATION OPTIONS for people who want to come to the United States from other nations and work here and give up their allegiance to their old country and be Americans with us!

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

We recently watched the documentary on video about the illegal Mexicans that live in DEER CANYON, in San Diego, who work for cheap and cash at even some of the world's most exclusive resorts. They are living homeless and in a canyon where the developers are making them move camp and in one of the groves there a Catholic church outreach has created a kind of outdoor chapel where they can hear Mass and get a little medical help. Watching this film, one can't help but be grateful for having it so much better as an American citizen.

On the other hand the illegal immigration going on today is different than the immigrations in the past history of the United States. Let's face it - our Presidents - both Democratic and Republican have allowed this immigration, one recently claiming that they do jobs Americans won't do.

Anyone who has ever performed a minimum wage job here in the United States - when qualified to do and be so much more - just spits hearing that. Policies that have made areas of the country of Mexico into vast factory zones where Mexicans who stay in Mexico work for much less pay, manufacturing for companies in the United States, have meant factory shut downs here. Owners just do not want to spoil their own personal profit.

IT ALL COMES DOWN TO ONE THING : JOBS FOR AMERICANS going (either HERE or THERE) to NON-AMERICAN CITIZENS!

This is one of the reasons it is so important for you to BUY AMERICAN PRODUCTS !
THE CONSUMER CAN HAVE GREAT IMPACT !
