We're WATCHING THE 2010 WINTER OLYMPICS
We've been watching the 2010 Winter Olympics every night, and of course we are pleased when an American wins. Never, however, has the sporting seemed more vicious and subject to stress pressure and wipe-outs! As a result, it seems like more individuals and couple have won maybe because someone else fell. We're patriotic but we believe in a fair-win. So CONGRADULATIONS TO ALL THOSE WHO MANAGE TO PARTICIPATE, win or loose!

BUY YOUR LOVE SOME GROWN IN THE UNITED STATES FLOWERS
Yes it is true. Many of the flowers sold in floral shops in the United States are imported! This may be one of the more difficult products to bust when it comes to finding out where they originate.
NOW TAKE HEART IN THE GREAT STATE OF HAWAII where orchids, bird of paradise, and other more tropical flowers are grown and are flown into the mainland United States...
SO WHAT CAN YOU DO? ASK YOUR FLOREST where the flowers and other items they use such as baskets and vases originate. GO TO THE LOCAL NURSERY where the tags may let you know where the plants have been grown... and buy live plants rather than cut flowers.
Even though their answer may not please you, JUST ASKING LETS THEM KNOW YOU CARE!
